When does the registration period stop?
You can join and set up teams all the way through the competition.

Building a Team

Do I have to pick players from different clubs?
Yes! You are allowed to buy a maximum of 3 players from any 1 club.

I've spent all my money. How do I complete my team?
You have a budget of £150 million to spend on 11 players and a stadium. If you have used up your budget but not completed your team, you must make some transfers to free up some budget. You can make as many transfers as you like before you submit your team, HOWEVER, once you have submitted your team, any transfers you make will count against your quota.

When do I have to submit my team?
You must submit your team to score points. Once your team is complete you can submit it. Your team will not start scoring, or appear in a Mini-League, until you have submitted your team. If you enter and complete your team before the transfer window closes at 12.00 London Time on Saturday, 17th August 2013 your team will be auto submitted at this time.

How can I submit my team?
Once you have picked 11 players and a stadium, a submit button will appear on the top of the screen. Your team will not start scoring, or appear in a Mini-League, until you have submitted your team. If you enter and complete your team before the end of the transfer window it will be automatically submitted when the transfer window closes at 12.00 London Time on Saturday, 17th August 2013. NOTE: You are not able to submit your team manually before the auto submission date/time!

Playing the Game

I have submitted my team but I can't play any games?
Your team does not play any games as such - your players score points based on their real life performance in the domestic league season. Your team will then be given a collective score and you will gain or lose places in your respective league.

How do I score points?
Points are scored based on the performance of players. A full list of the point's allocation can be found in the game rules.

When do I get my transfers?
You will be provided 5 transfers per month (up to 50 over the whole season). The exact date and time for transfer allocation can be found in the RULES page. Unused transfers will not be carried over to the next month.

How do I purchase a stadium?
To buy a stadium, go to your team page and, in the top-right hand corner, there should be an image of a stadium. Simply click this, and a list of all the available stadiums and their respective prices should appear. For your team to be complete, you MUST select a stadium.

How do I make transfers?
You can make transfers to optimize your point scoring potential. Once you have logged on, head to the Team section. Select the player you want to transfer out. You can do this by selecting the shirt graphic on the pitch of the player you wish to transfer out. Then select the player you want to transfer in from the drop down list that appears. Any players marked with an 'x' are out of your budget.

NOTE: You will not lose points when transferring players out of your team. Points that they have scored will be counted towards your team's points and you can view their points in the transfer history page.

IMPORTANT: You must SAVE all transfers / selections once made. The game will allow you to make provisional changes, but no change will be confirmed until you have pressed SAVE. If you change your mind before saving, please click the UNDO button. Do not change your newly transferred player back to the original, as this will use up two of your transfers.

Can I transfer players between games?
Yes, all transfers must be made by the published time of kick-off for any match, but you can transfer players out after kick-off to get your line-up ready for the next match.
You do not have to wait until the match finishes to swap players between games, as long as the players are in your team by the match deadline, they will score points for your team. Time of transfers will be recorded as per the server clock (displayed in the bottom right hand side of the screen).

I am trying to make a transfer and it won't let me!
If you are having trouble making a transfer it's probably because you have either reached your quota of players from that club, or you have spent your entire budget. You cannot go over your allocated transfer budget.

How do I change my team's formation?
You can change your team's formation at any time by clicking "Reset Formation". Your team must have enough budget and transfer allocations in order to proceed.

Please note: Where appropriate, the game will remove from your team the lowest-scoring players in any given position. For example, when you change from a 4-4-2 to a 3-5-2 formation, your defender with the least points will be automatically removed from your defence. You can make as many changes to your formation as you like - only the final SAVED formation and player selections will take effect.

Can you tell me who runs team xxxxxxxxx?
NO! When users sign up we promise that no details will be passed on to anyone - so we will not give any information relating to who runs any teams.

How do I claim my prize?
Sorry! The only prize you'll win playing this game is the bragging rights amongst your mini-league and pride of place as a top Euro fantasy manager. If we do offer prizes we will contact winners within a 28 day period of them winning. If there is a tie, the manager that joined the game first will be deemed the winner.

I don't want to play anymore. How do I delete my team?
We cannot delete teams. If you no longer wish to play the game you can contact us to unsubscribe from our database.

What is a Euro Super Scout?
The Euro Super Scout feature will allow you to buy a player for your team who is not a member of the Premier League. They will score points, just like your other players, and will remain in your team until you transfer them out.

How do I get Power Play and bonus transfer codes?
Power Play and bonus transfer codes will be displayed in the mag. Power Play codes will allow you to select one week each month where you will be able to score double points for all of your players that play within that week. Once you have entered the code, you will be able to choose which week you would like to score double points for. Choose wisely, as you will not be able to change it.

Bonus transfer codes will allow you to add an extra transfer to your team, to help maximise your point scoring potential.

What does a stadium do?
A stadium provides your team with income based on the real-life attendances of the stadium that you have chosen and the fantasy ticket price. Stadiums are priced based on their real-life club and their average attendance. You can upgrade your stadium with "stands", which increase the amount of revenue that your stadium earns, up to a maximum of 6 stands. You can only purchase stands with the profit you have made from previous attendances.

Point Scoring

Why haven't I scored any points for my player(s)?
Your players will not score points until you have submitted your team.

If you transfer a player into your team once an official game has started they WILL NOT score any points for that game. Make sure all your transfers are complete before the transfer deadline!

Players will only score points if they set foot on the pitch during a match - if your player is injured, suspended or on the bench they will not score fantasy points.

When do the points get updated?
We will update points within a 48 hour period of each match ending. Points for assists may be allocated up to 24 hours after the match ends and may be changed after this time if the Assists Panel rules so.

Will my team's score be changed because of changed/reversed decisions?
To keep this game as up to date as possible we will use the scores / results that all the original news agencies report. If there are reverse decisions or the results are reported differently after the initial report we will NOT change the original score reported. Therefore, any red/yellow cards, own goals or final results that are awarded/taken away from players/teams after the event will have no impact on their original fantasy points awarded.

Do players on the bench score points?
No! A player must set foot on the pitch to score points - no points are scored from the bench. Likewise - if a player is substituted out, he will not score or lose points for goals scored and conceded whilst off the pitch. For example if a defender gets substituted out on 50 minutes and the score is 0-0, but his team eventually lose 2-0 - he will not lose points for conceding goals. Points shown by players on your bench are only an indication of what you could have scored, were they in your team.

What happens if a player is injured and doesn't play anymore?
If a player does not play in any matches he will not score points. So if he is injured, and out of the competition, transfer him!

What do Captains do?
Choose one player to be the Captain of your team. Your chosen 'Captain' will remain your team captain until you transfer him or change captain to another player in your team. The player will DOUBLE his game points during the time he remains as captain. If no captain is chosen, no player will receive double points. You can change your captain as many times as you want, but only the player named as captain at the captain deadline, 12:00 (Midday) London Time each Saturday will receive double points for the following 7 days.

I have set my captain within the deadline but no points have been awarded to my captain?
You may have selected your captain within the deadline BUT you need to keep him in your starting 11 team until the cut off time has passed i.e. at 12.01 London Time on each Saturday.

How do you measure an 'Assist'?
An assist will be allocated to any player who makes the last clean pass/header before a goal is scored by a team-mate. Assists will not be awarded if there is any measure of interference from an opposing player. An assist will not be awarded in the event of a parry, a rebound, a goal scored directly from a free-kick or a penalty..

Please note: Following consideration by the Assists Panel points for assists may be added/removed up to 48 hours after the initial match points have been processed. The decision of the Assists Panel is final and no discussion will be entered into regarding the allocation of points for assists.

Am I in a League?
Yes. Everybody automatically enters the World League, where they compete with everybody who has registered. You can also set up a 'Private League' where you can play a group of friends - this can be found under 'Mini-League Admin' in the Leagues section of the website, once you have logged on.

Can I set up a private league to play against my friends?
Yes. You can set up a Mini-League to challenge your friends and colleagues. Choose the 'Mini-League Admin' link on the League section once you have logged in. Here you can choose to set up a Mini-League yourself or enter one that has already been set up using a league name and password.

Can I join a league mid season?
Yes. You can place your team into a league at any stage in the competition. Your team will keep any points etc. that it has earned to date, although any mini-leagues created after the league of leagues closing deadline will NOT be eligible to win prizes (if we offer any!). Remember, once in a Private league, your team cannot leave that Private league.

How can I move my team from one league to another?
You are unable to move teams in and out of leagues. Your team will remain in its league forever, however you can belong to a maximum of 10 mini-leagues including those that you chair. Please note: you can ONLY create and be the 'Chairman' of 3 mini-leagues.

I have entered my team into a Mini-League but I can't see it!
The site updates periodically, so you may not be able to see your team in a mini-league straight away. Once the site has updated, your team will show in your Mini-League list. Only teams that have been submitted will be shown in Mini-Leagues.
